Overview
Control 101 Gate Controllers are pre‑built access control panels designed to operate gates, barriers, and bollard. Control gates, barriers and bollards across logistics yards, car parks, concierge desks, and commercial sites. There are the mk1 & mk2 versions with combinations to suit just about any scenario. However if you require a bespoke solution, then simply pop us over an email outlining what it is you want.

The gate controller system is broken down into 4 sections 

​

1. The gate controller -    Each gate controller comes with 10 meters of pre terminated 1mm YY multi-core cable                                                                (9.5meters usable length).

2. Junction boxes -           Each Junction box comes with cable glands

3. Cable -                        5 meter, 10 meter, 15 meter and 20 meter lengths. 2-core to 50-core. 

4. External controllers -   Each External controller comes with cable glands

•     Dedicated E‑Stop buttons
•     Printed zone labels
•     Installer‑friendly wiring
•     Options for selector or key switches available 
These panels are ideal for sites requiring manual override, emergency stop access, and multi‑zone control from a single location.

The difference between Controller MK1 & MK2

MK1 – Versatile Multi‑Zone Controller
•     Supports up to 3 variants
•     Includes E‑STOP buttons per zone
•     Printed zone labelling
•     Optional for selector or key switches​

•     Ideal for concierge desks, logistics yards, and mixed‑access sites

Each controller comes with 9.5 meters of 1mm YY cable

 

MK1 – Plastic Enclosure with Aluminium Plates. The MK1 Gate Controller is

built inside a durable plastic enclosure fitted with precision‑cut aluminium plates for mounting

E‑Stops, key switches, and printed zone labels. This design provides:

•     A clean, professional finish

•     Excellent durability for indoor and concierge environments

•     Plenty of internal space for optional accessories

•     A versatile platform for Hold Open key switches and custom layouts

MK2 – Slimline Multi‑Zone Controller
•     Supports up to 4 zones
•     Includes E‑STOP buttons per zone
•     Printed zone labelling
•     Compact, clean layout
•     Ideal for car parks, simple gate setups, or space‑restricted installations

MK2 – Aluminium Frame with Plastic End Caps

The MK2 uses a lightweight aluminium frame with plastic end caps, creating

a slim, modern, and compact controller. This design offers:
•     A sleek, space‑efficient profile
•     Strong structural rigidity
•     A clean front‑face layout for E‑Stops and printed labels
•     A simplified internal layout for fast installation

 

Junction boxes

Junction boxes are straight forward. Available in small,

large, and extra large each one has din rail terminals with

blank identification, identification spares, cable glands and

a blank wiring schedule.

 

 

 

 

Cable

Cable available is 1mm YY multi-core and can be purchased by 5 meter,

10 meter, 15 meter and 20 meter lengths and  core capacity ranging from

2-core to 50-core.

External Controllers

External controllers are units that can control gates, barriers, bollards locally,

ideal for free to exit, hold open and Deadman's operation.
