🔥 700 Series – Dual‑Board Modular Control Cabinet System
Double the control. Double the capability. Fully modular.
Domestic • Commercial • High‑End Automation • Installer‑Customisable
Overview
The Control 101 700 Series is a high‑capacity, dual‑control‑board cabinet designed for advanced domestic and commercial gate automation systems.
Where the 600 Series provides modular flexibility for single‑board installations, the 700 Series expands this into a dual‑board architecture, allowing installers to run:
• Two identical control boards
• Two different manufacturer boards
• A main board + secondary logic board
• A gate board + access control board
• A gate board + safety/expansion board
The 700 Series is built for installers who need maximum flexibility, clean wiring,
and future‑proof serviceability.
Choose Your Cabinet Configuration
1. Enclosure Options
Mild Steel Enclosure
• Powder‑coated
• High durability
• Ideal for commercial and outdoor sites
GRP Enclosure
• Lightweight
• Corrosion‑resistant
• UV‑stable
• Perfect for coastal or damp environments
• Easy to drill and customise
2. Mains Circuit Options (Dual 10A Rated Circuits)
The 700 Series includes two completely independent 10A mains distribution systems — one dedicated to Control Board A and one dedicated to Control Board B.
This provides clean, isolated power delivery for dual‑logic, dual‑motor, or mixed‑brand control board installations.
Each 10A circuit includes:
• 10A MCB (one per control board)
• Double‑pole isolator (internal or external depending on model)
• 3 × 5mm × 20mm fuse holders per circuit
• Neutral & earth terminal blocks
• Clean, trunked wiring throughout
Shared Component
• One 20A, 250V, 50–60Hz EMI filter
• Feeds the cabinet before the circuits split
• Reduces electrical noise
• Protects both control boards and all ancillary equipment
Why dual circuits matter
Each control board receives its own protected, isolated, and independently fused power feed, making the 700 Series ideal for:
• Dual‑motor systems
• Mixed‑brand control boards
• Access control + gate control combinations
• High‑end commercial installations
• Systems requiring clean separation of logic and power
3. Door Plate Option
Add a door‑mounted equipment plate for low‑profile devices such as:
• Receivers
• Timers
• Relays
• Small PSUs
• Logic modules
This keeps the main mounting area clear for the dual control boards.
4. Dual Control Board Selection
Choose who supplies the control boards:
Customer‑Supplied
Use your preferred manufacturer boards (FAAC, BFT, NICE, Beninca, Fadini, etc.)
Control 101‑Supplied
We install both boards for you.
Your cabinet arrives ready for wiring and commissioning.
Once enclosure + mains circuit + board supplier are chosen, you have the:

🔧 What Makes the 700 Series Truly Modular
The 700 Series uses an expanded version of the Control 101 modular wiring system, designed specifically for dual‑board installations.
Dual‑Board Architecture
Both control boards are mounted side‑by‑side and wired down to the modular Input/Output DIN rail system.
This allows:
• Two independent logic systems
• Shared or separate accessories
• Mixed‑brand control boards
• High‑end automation layouts
Input/Output DIN Rail System (Expanded for Dual Boards)
All connections from both control boards are brought down to the Input/Output DIN rail at the bottom of the cabinet.
This rail becomes the central hub for:
• Control Board A
• Control Board B
• Ancillary equipment
• Field wiring
• Future upgrades
How the modular system works
• Each board has its own dedicated terminal section
• Ancillary equipment (PSUs, relays, detectors, etc.) is wired into the same rail
• Field wiring connects into the rail, not the boards
• Engineers can isolate, test, and modify wiring without disturbing the boards
Installer Benefits
• Clean separation of logic between Board A and Board B
• Rapid fault‑finding — every connection is accessible and labelled
• Easier commissioning — test each board independently
• Future‑proof — upgrade boards or add accessories without rewiring
• Consistent layout across all 700 Series cabinets
📘 Documentation Included as Standard
Every 700 Series cabinet is supplied with a full set of Control 101 installation booklets, including:
• Dual‑board wiring layout diagrams
• Mains circuit documentation
• Input/Output DIN rail mapping
• Ancillary equipment connection guides
• Safety and isolation information
• Installer notes and best practices
These booklets ensure that any installer or attending engineer can understand the system instantly — even years after the original installation.
