The FireBird 200A Series is a compact, intelligent access‑control system designed for fail‑safe magnetic locks on pedestrian gates and controlled doors. With built‑in Wi‑Fi, selectable WET/DRY relay modes, Wiegand reader support, and optional cloud management via thebuilding.cloud, the FireBird 200A delivers reliable, modern access control for residential, commercial, and multi‑tenant environments.

Each controller is supplied with a Control101 protective enclosure and 4 × 20 mm cable glands for clean, professional cable entry.

Wiring made simple

DRY Mode (external feed)

Ideal when using a separate PSU or switching different voltages.

  • External feed goes to COM

  • Lock positive to N/C

  • Lock negative to 0 V

  • Max switching: 125 VAC / 60 VDC at 1 A

 

WET Mode (internal 12 V feed)

Perfect for standard 12 V fail‑safe maglocks.

  • Controller supplies 12 VDC internally

  • Select + or – polarity

  • Max load: 1 A

  • Never connect external power to COM in WET mode

    “DANGER: Never connect an external power source to COM while WET mode is selected.”

Request‑to‑Exit (REX)

  • Volt‑free contact to GND

  • Accepts exit buttons, intercom relays, keypad relays

  • No voltage allowed on REX

Emergency Release Compatibility

Fully supports fire‑alarm break‑glass units and emergency door‑release devices.

Optional Cloud Mode
